RestockLink

Legal draft

Terms and conditions

This is a practical first draft for review while the marketplace is still being shaped.

1. Platform Purpose

RestockLink is designed as a private stock marketplace for verified sellers, B2B buyers, and approved platform operators. The platform helps parties discover stock opportunities, submit enquiries, review listings, and coordinate commercial discussions while protecting sensitive contact details.

2. Account Approval

Buyer and seller access is subject to manual review. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We may request additional documents, business information, proof of trading activity, or proof of right to sell specific goods before approving or continuing access.

3. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all listed stock information is accurate, lawful, current, and supported by appropriate documentation. This includes product descriptions, quantities, condition, brand rights, pricing, origin, availability, and any restrictions on resale or export.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for reviewing listing information, asking necessary questions before committing to a deal, and providing accurate destination, port, company, tax, shipping, and payment information when requested.

5. Protected Contact and Enquiries

Buyer and seller contact details may be withheld until the platform decides they can be released. Users agree not to bypass the platform, misuse enquiry threads, scrape data, or contact other users outside approved platform processes.

6. Pricing, Commission, and Shipping

Prices, commissions, and shipping support may vary by deal. Any commission, freight quote, or service fee should be confirmed in writing before a transaction is completed. Shipping support may require details such as origin, destination country, destination port, cartons, units, volume, weight, and required trade documents.

7. Documents and Uploads

Users may upload business documents, product files, images, CSV files, or Excel files to support verification and listing review. Users must only upload files they are authorized to share and must ensure uploaded information does not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful material.

8. Listing Moderation

The platform may approve, hide, flag, archive, or mark listings as sold where appropriate. Listings may be removed or restricted if documentation is incomplete, stock is unavailable, information appears inaccurate, or legal or compliance risks are identified.

9. Draft Status

These terms are an initial working draft for product planning and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before the marketplace accepts real users, payments, or binding transactions.
